Fargo Public Schools Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit, member-owned financial cooperative providing services to the employees of Fargo Public Schools and their families. On November 10, 1934 with $10,000 in deposits, 10 educators signed a charter to form FPSFCU. It was the first credit union in North Dakota and 47th in the nation. Over 85 years later we’re still going strong providing local personalized service with all the benefits of a large financial institution!
To be eligible for membership you must be an employee, board member, retired pensioner from Fargo Public Schools or the immediate family member of a Fargo Public Schools Federal Credit Union member.
Members have the opportunity to vote for the Credit Union’s volunteer board of directors each year at the annual meeting. Our board makes decisions concerning FPSFCU based on the interests of members, internal policies and relevant laws and regulations.
